Allscripts announced its acquisition of San Francisco-based EHR vendor Practice Fusion for $100 million on Monday. The acquisition is the second within the past six months for the Chicago-based healthtech vendor, following its purchase of McKesson’s health IT business last August. Officials expect the deal to close within the first quarter of 2018.
