Apple’s Health app has been making waves in the healthtech space since it was announced that 500 hospitals and and health clinics would allow patients to pull their EHR data into the app.

Now, the leading tech company will allow individuals to move that data to third party apps – a massive push toward interoperability on Apple’s part. Industry leaders are saying that Apple’s push to make data easily accessible across platforms is a significant move toward positive evolution in the value-based care space.
