The US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has released a request for quotation for a “large EMR” to research adverse drug effects. The study will focus on cardiovascular abnormalities after drug exposure, with the end goal to develop a “novel data mining and data visualization method . . .  for drug induced cardiovascular abnormalities (i.e high blood pressure, stroke, QT prolongation, and arrhythmia)”. Responses are sought by May 14 at 12:00 pm CPT.
