0

A new consumer poll by Gallup indicated that 78% of American consumers experience healthcare insecurity. A further 55% of American adults are worried “a great deal” about their access to affordable, quality healthcare. Another 23% of consumers indicated they worry “a fair amount” about their healthcare. Healthcare last topped Gallup’s list of Americans’ worries in 2007’s poll.

Over half of consumers also indicated that social determinants of health (SDOH) — including drug use, gun violence, crime, hunger, homelessness and environmental quality — are among their moderate to strong worries.
