HCA Healthcare Inc and KKR & Co aim to make a joint offer to buyout Nashville-based Envision Healthcare Corp’s physician services unit, including its AmSurg ambulatory surgery business.

Sources claim that under the deal, HCA would acquire AmSurg and KKR would acquire the rest. The proposed deal would be yet another in the trend of physician network deals in attempts to adapt to the new value-based healthcare landscape.
