In an effort to spur innovation, presentations on population health issues and solutions will be juxtaposed in a new 16,000-square-foot “Solutions Lab” at the HIMSS18 conference this month in Las Vegas, according to Healthcare IT News beat reporter Susan Morse.

Billed as a practical “fireside chat” between population health experts, administrators and healthcare engineers, the Solutions Lab will provide an interactive setting for discussion and demonstrations, HIMSS North America’s Director of Payer and Life Sciences Shelley Price told Morse.

“It allows attendees to get upfront and personal,” she said. “Instead of only learning globally, you can talk to solutions vendors.”
