Recently released data from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology reveals that slightly more health systems and hospitals used Cerner (23.73%) than Epic (22.14%) as part of the Medicare EHR Incentive Program from 2011 to 2016. Eligible clinicians, however, were far more likely to use Epic (27.29%) than Cerner (4.84%). For clinicians, Allscripts came in second with 9.51% of usage.
