The House of Representatives has passed HR 4245, which would give Congress further oversight concerning the VA’s EHR overhaul with Cerner. Dubbed the Veterans’ Electronic Health Record Modernization Oversight Act of 2017, the bill would require the VA to supply certain documents to Congress throughout the implementation process, as well as quarterly updates.
