The new Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Advanced (BPCI) reimbursement model through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is getting lots of attention from providers, even with target pricing not expected to be announced until May. While some providers are wary, many are applying for the model now as there is no commitment to decide whether to participate until August. The application deadline for BPCI Advanced is March 12. The model would take effect on October 1.
