The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently announced it will expand the Medicare Advantage Value-Based Insurance Design Model in 2019 to cover 15 additional states, for a total of 25. The expansion will also allow Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans to take part as well as give more leeway for participants to accept enrollees.
