A digital database of socioeconomic data housed at the University of Wisconsin is now live, allowing researchers to see data on location-based income, education, employment, and other social determinants of health.

Funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the program is part of a stronger emphasis on preventive medicine and understanding the social effects of health policy.
