NYU Launches City Health Dashboard in 500 Cities Nationwide

The Department of Population Health at the NYU School of Medicine has launched the City Health Dashboard, an “online resource with community-level health, social and economic data for the nation’s 500 largest cities.”

The Dashboard reports data on 36 measures for population health ranging from obesity and opioid death statistics to income inequality and literacy. The new application’s goal is to improve access to data on social determinants of health on a macroscopic level with data from federal and state datasets, among others.
