The app is designed to promote healthy eating and nutritious diets, based on behavioral economics, personalization and data science. Wellness apps such as Zipongo are among the tools and technologies most likely to play a role in the transition to value-based care, particularly as they support employee wellness programs at self-funded employers and patient engagement efforts by healthcare organizations.
