The Princeton University Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering has announced a partnership with healthcare technology company ODH to investigate new applications of machine learning in predicting social health factors and future outcomes based on social determinants.

“We see a huge opportunity to push the boundaries by improving machine learning methodologies so that we can better identify underlying behavioral and social factors contributing to individuals’ health conditions and target interventions accordingly,” said Michael Jarjour, ODH’s president and CEO.
