Back in January, Intermountain Healthcare, SSM Health, Trinity Health and Ascension announced that they would be working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to develop a not-for-profit generic drug company. Now, a new poll from Reaction Data reveals that 90% of providers claim that they will do business Project RX. And with drug spending expected to rise by 8% this year according to the Government Accountability Office, it looks as if the new venture aims to shake up the pharmaceutical industry.
