A report released by West Monroe Partners and Mergermarket, “Reshaping Healthcare M&A: How Competition and Technology are Changing the Game”, reveals that technology innovation is a leading driver in a majority of deals going on in the healthcare space.

According to the report, 60% of respondents “rank digital health and healthcare IT in their top 3 priorities”. And an impressive 79% said they “will pursue alliances, partnerships and joint ventures in the next 12-18 months”.
