A team led by researchers at Rice University has been awarded a $10m grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) through the Expeditions in Computing program. The Grant will fund research and development of 3D tissue imaging technology that will aid in non-invasive diagnostics and monitoring of nearly 100 diseases that today require either a biopsy or bloodwork to detect.
