The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has finalized a rule allowing providers to offer telehealth services across state lines, with the rule set to go into effect on June 11. According to the VA’s release, the rule “clarifies that VA healthcare providers may exercise their authority to provide healthcare through the use of telehealth, notwithstanding any State laws, rules, licensure, registration or certification requirements to the contrary”.
