Last week, Emory Healthcare and Walmart announced a new accountable care organization (ACO) for Walmart employees in the metro-Atlanta area. As part of the collaboration, employees and associates at 55 company locations will have access to the Emory Accountable Care Plan as their primary plan. The partnership will also eliminate out-of-pocket costs for certain spine and joint treatments at the Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital or Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center.
