According to CNBC, Humana isn’t the only object of Walmart’s healthcare affections at the moment.

The retail giant is also reportedly interested in purchasing PillPack — an online pharmacy that specializes in pre-packaging daily doses for seniors and chronic disease sufferers who take several medications a day.

The move would give Walmart a valuable new service to offer its retail pharmacy customers, and could improve patient outcomes by helping consumers avoid adverse medication reactions associated with polypharmacy.
